I was very pleased with the work Ecowoods floors did in installing new wood floors in my home. They took out the existing flooring (wall to wall carpet), installed a (necessary) new subfloor, and installed and finished the hardwood floors we selected. It was an involved project as it turned out, but Francisco and his staff were consistently professional, helpful and responsive. I liked the fact that my husband and I were able to view samples in a showroom and talk through several different options for flooring in a relaxed setting with Francisco. His significant experience in the field certainly was evident in all of our interactions.

I'd certainly recommend Ecowoods Floors to others, and would also use them again for future projects (such as future refinishing of our new floors). We couldn't be happier with the finished product.

Recently we have completed a major renovation to our home which involved the addition of new oak railing and sanding/staining of all stair treads. We had about six or seven stair/railing contractors come through the house. You learn very quickly about some who are too eager to take the money and run. Francisco from Ecowoods Inc. was my second last to visit our home of this group of stair contractors.

I had a list of questions which Francisco had answered without too much difficulty. It is also important to mention that our stairs have never seen any improvement since the house was built but after speaking to Francisco, I had no reservation that Ecowoods would be up to the job. Francisco and his team did an amazing job refinishing the wood floors on the second floor of our house as well as our stairway. Our house is 102 years old and the wood floors, which are original, were in very poor condition but they managed to make the floors look incredible. I couldn't believe it when I saw them. After months of renovations, finally, we had a happy moment!

They also repaired the floors in certain spots where wood had rotted or walls had been removed. It is difficult to see where the repairs are. Everything blends seamlessly.

They are incredibly fastidious and have exceptionally high standards for their work. They came in on weekends - including a long weekend - to get the job done. They also came by several times to apply an additional coat of stain. They are very customer-oriented, polite, professional, and lovely to work with.

Just bought a condo that had terribly finished parquet flooring. It looked beat-up with an uneven light-wood finish on it. Francisco and his team refinished an about 800 sqft space in three day and it is like we have a brand new floor. The dark stain refreshes the space and it looks so modern. This is the 2nd time I've used Ecowoods to refinish hardwood floors.
After calling Francisco, he came right away to look at the floors.
He was quick in giving us an written estimate. We decided to use Francisco and his crew again. On the recent purchase of a home we were terrified to find out that under all the carpet the floors were damaged by dog urine and another section was very damaged and the only way the section could be repaired was to replace it with new strips. We weren't sure how the floors would turn out because they looked pretty damaged but Francisco recommended we stain the floors a dark colour to hide the damaged sections caused by the dog urine. Initially I didn't want to go with a dark stain but Francisco recommended a few colours that would work and to my surprise the floors turned out better than I expected. I am completely happy with the final result. Francisco and his team did not disappoint. I would definitely use Ecowoods again and definitely would recommend them to anyone who is looking to re-sand and re-stain their wood floors.
